Then Oscar had a go with a smaller sparkler (he's not a big bear like Scary) and he waved his sparkler up and down, up and down, and it looked like bright scribbles in the air.
Most of the bears took turns holding the sparkling sticks, but some of the little bears were a bit wary of the sparks and decided that they would perhaps settle for just watching the others instead, and they enjoyed that just as much.
It was quite warm outside in the garden so the bears stayed out for some time, but eventually it started to get a bit chilly so they went back indoors and warmed themselves up by drinking hot chocolate with floating marshmallows, and eating big pieces of delicious parkin. Yum yum!
