The bears usually go to a big, organised Bonfire Party at this time of year, but they decided that, this year, they would like to have a little one of their own. They invited their pals round, and asked them to bring some food or drink with them. Their pals brought marshmallows and parkin (a very dark, sticky, gingery, yummy cake) and a big tin of hot chocolate.
A lot of their neighbours seemed to have had the same idea of having Bonfire Parties at home, and they set off big fireworks which the bears could enjoy watching as they exploded and lit up the sky in different colours.
Jane had bought them some sparklers though. Scary was the first to try one and, when it was lit, it burst into life and sparkled and fizzed like anything!
