And they're also a bit annoyed that once he'd finished eating, he could just wash his face with his paws and not have to use soap and flannels to get himself clean like they do (although they do try to get out of doing that if they can!)
In an attempt to stop him needing to eat all their flowers and fruit, they decided to put out some slices of carrot for Robert, and they left them on an old tree-stump at the bottom of the garden. They were very pleased when he started to eat the carrots instead of their plants! They're just not sure quite how much a baby rabbit eats, as if he doesn't get enough carrots, he might resort to eating the rest of their garden!!
