Moelfre Pebble Pillars
A Great Walk
It really was a beautiful day for a walk - blue sky and sunshine, but a chill wind that meant they were very glad to have packed their scarves. They found a beach packed with seashells - some of which seemed huge compared with the size of the little teddy bears!
Pebble Pillars
Alfred had heard that if you held a seashell to your ear you could hear the sea. Unfortunately, these seashells were too heavy to pick up so he bent down to put his ear next to a shell - and declared that he could, indeed, hear waves breaking on the shore! Nobody liked to point out to Alfred that was actually what they could all hear too, even without a seashell pressed to their ears!!
