Moelfre Pebble Pillars

A Great Walk

The teddy bears have loved being on holiday. They liked getting out and about in the fresh air - sometimes it was very cold, but keeping active kept them warm, and they love walking and exploring. One of their favourite walks this time was along the coast around Moelfre, a small fishing village on the east coast of Anglesey.

They parked near to the Moelfre RNLI (that's the Royal National Lifeboat Institution) Seawatch Centre where they could look around a lifeboat, learn about the history of lifeboatmen saving lives at sea, and visit the RNLI Shop to buy presents to take home.

They had packed a picnic (as they do for all their walks - just in case they feel a bit peckish!) and they set off along a path right on top of the cliffs, looking down at the blue sea, past memorials to famous Lifeboatmen and tragic shipwrecks.
