The bears had a surprise present today! They like surprise presents! When they first saw it, they couldn't make up their minds what it was for. It was like a green plastic trough on legs.
So they all jumped into it and guessed what it could be. Scary said it could be a big bed if it had comfy cushions and blankets in it. Boo and Crackers thought it would make an ideal pirate boat, far above the waves! Custard and Tommy decided it was big enough to be a whole new home for them! Teddy thought it could be a train and he could be the train driver! Bubbles said that if it was filled with sand, it would make a great sandpit to play in!
When they eventually read the booklet which came with it, it turned out that you could use it as several things - one of which was a sandpit (clever Bubbles!) - but most people would use it as a garden trough, and fill it with flowers or vegetables.
