Custard placed these foam pads over the back of the picture, making sure that there were enough all around the edges.

Then he removed the protective paper from them - this was the fiddliest part of the job.

Then he had to very carefully line this picture up with the one underneath, so that it matched exactly. Then he pressed it down to make it stick.

Teddy pushed out the next picture (luckily they were numbered so that Teddy knew which order to push them out), then Custard added the foam pads to the back of that one and carefully positioned it again, then pressed it down.
