Christmas Card Making
Card Making
Custard chose the picture he wanted to use - the very Christmassy subject of Father Christmas! He found some card blanks to put the pictures on,
Custard Using The Glue
and then Teddy very carefully pushed out the pictures in turn, starting with the biggest one first. This would be the base of the picture.
Pressing The First Picture Down
Custard spread glue on the back of the picture and positioned it on the front of the card, making sure it was in exactly the right place before he pressed it down!
Teddy then pushed out the next picture which he passed to Custard.
The Next Piece
Now, to make a really good 3D effect, Custard didn't use glue on the back of this picture. Instead, he used some double-sided adhesive foam pads - small pieces of foam with glue already on each side, with one side protected with removeable paper, so that it could be handled without sticking to his paws! Sometimes that didn't work out quite so well, but mostly the foam pads got stuck to the cards, and not to Custard (or Teddy!!).
