With not much in the way of real snow yet this year, I was beginning to think I'll not have the chance to make a snowman at all! Then I had a brainwave! I've made my indoor snowman out of cotton wool balls (like the big balls of snow you make out of doors) stuck on top of one another. Then I've used matchsticks for his arms with little pieces of felt cut out like mittens on the end. With a piece of orange felt shaped into a carrot-like nose, and buttons on his front and for his eyes. Then I managed to make a teeny, tiny woollen hat for his snowman head. I let him borrow my own scarf for round his neck. There! Doesn't he look great?
