Here I am holding branches of two of the most famous plants known at Christmastime. 'The Holly And The Ivy' is one of my most favourite Christmas Carols. And, luckily, we have both of these plants in our garden so can just go outside whenever we want to pick branches for our Christmas decorations. I don't mind picking the ivy - it is very soft and has lovely flowers on it. However, holly seems to not want anyone to go near it - it has very, very prickly leaves which my paws don't like at all. But it does have really nice bright red berries which look lovely decorating our house.
